Important Information

This isn't just a walk in the park!
Only you know your own abilities. We strongly suggest you follow our advice, have good quality tested gear (especially torch/phone) and spares. Most importantly, you should make sure that at least some of your training hikes are done at night. We strongly recommend that you have completed the whole course within your training.

SunTrekker, 2nd Sept **NEW IN 2018**
 - A new fun summer training recce/social hike (18km), taking place on 2nd September on Lantau. There will be delcious food and craft beer at the finish; the perfect warm-up for MoonTrekker. MoonTrekkers receive a HK$60 discount.

Race pack collection - Joint Dynamics, 12/f, Dorset House, Quarry Bay  
Saturday, 22nd September (10am-4pm) 
You must attend (or send a friend/teammate/courier) to collect your race-pack. This is the only time you may collect your race-pack. All participants must raise a minimum of HK$650pp via SimplyGiving

Fundraising
All particiants MUST raise a minimum of HK$650pp via a SimplyGiving fundraising page. 

Barclays MoonTrekker is as much about fundraising as a sporting event. In 2017 we raised HK$2.5m for the Nature Conservancy, in 2018 we hope to match or beat this, requiring the average donation of all participants to be double the minimum. 

Post-event Drinks Evening
Tuesday, 7-9pm, 23rd October. Beef & Liberty, 3/F, California Tower, 30-32 D' Aguilar Street, Central. What to bring
Please see the recommended and mandatory items needed for the race. It is very important that you are adequately prepared.

UPDATE in progress. It is strongly advised that each pariticipant complete all sections of the course at least twice during their training. You should also incorporate night-hiking within your training programme.
